  6. I am woefully unenlightened about *roff.  In writing a man page for a
  7. device driver for NetBSD, I discovered that the following:

  9. .Nm lt
  10.  
  11. produces no output in the resulting file, while 
  12.  
  13. .Nm ell-tee
  14.  
  15. and
  16.  
  17. .Nm LT
  18.  
  19. both Do The Right Thing.  Do I need to rename my driver? :-)
  20.  
  21. Clearly the character string "lt" is "magic" in some way, as it
  22. appears often in the tmac files in /usr/share/tmac/*
  23.  
  24. How do I "quote" it?
